Cubs Club — Ages 6–10

A fun introduction to movement, coordination, and soft combat for young warriors.

Cubs Club is where the journey begins. Young students are introduced to fundamental movement patterns, coordination, and basic sword play using safe foam equipment. Through structured games, drills, and activities, cubs develop body awareness, listening skills, and the foundations of martial discipline — all while having a blast.

Why we train this

We believe movement is the foundation of everything. At this age, training isn't about perfecting technique — it's about building confident, capable movers who love to learn. Our approach draws from historical martial arts traditions adapted for young bodies and minds, emphasizing play-based learning that builds real skills.

Required and recommended equipment

Loaner equipment is available for trial classes and for new students.

Trial policy

Every BladeFit Academy program uses the same trial policy: a one-time $5 paid trial class. Loaner gear is provided for the trial, so nothing needs to be purchased in advance.
