Adult Soft Combat (Sport Sword) is fast-paced competitive fighting using padded weapons. This class focuses on athletic sword fighting with an emphasis on speed, strategy, and competitive awareness. It's perfect for those who want the thrill of sword fighting with lighter protective gear requirements.

Why we train this

Soft combat provides an accessible entry point to martial arts and a high-intensity competitive outlet. The lighter gear requirements make it easy to get started, while the fast pace and full-contact nature build genuine fighting skills, cardio fitness, and mental resilience.

Required and recommended equipment

Loaner equipment is available for trial classes and for new students.

Trial policy

Every BladeFit Academy program uses the same trial policy: a one-time $5 paid trial class. Loaner gear is provided for the trial, so nothing needs to be purchased in advance.
